10th Annual Children's Art Walk

Join us as we celebrate our local childrens creative expressions in visual art, dance, theatre and music! Student art from over 40 Whatcom County schools is displayed in 50 downtown Bellingham businesses with live performances in selected venues.

Opening night venue receptions are from 6 to 9 pm on May 7, 2010 and the art remains in the venues for two to four weeks. The Allied Arts Gallery exhibit, "Lighting up Education with Art" will display the art of the 26 professional artists on the Education Project's Teaching Artist Roster. Each visual artist displays a piece of their art as well as art of their students. Performance artists will display photos or videos. This show also highlights Arts Education Month which honors childrens art in Washington State throughout the month of May.
